This bill would require all state agencies, departments, boards, authorities and commissions to review all requests for state funded or sponsored travel to states that have enacted laws permitting discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity, including under overly broad religious exemptions. It is authored by Assemblymember Evan Low (D-Campbell) and is co-sponsored by Equality California and the National Center for Lesbian Rights.
